Every Kid a Winner at Kid’s Cross
Sports Basement to sponsor 2014 “Kid’s Cross” at BASP
With a ‘cross course designed expressly for our youngest bike riders and located adjacent to our regular adult race courses, the 2014 Clif Bar Bay Area Super Prestige “Kid’s Cross” is getting special support from Sports Basement. Stickers, snacks, ribbons, temporary tattoos will all be in the Sports Basement goody bags – along with their individual number plate. Every Kid a winner so every Kid is #1 in our books.
Our first weekend at Sierra Point (Nov. 8/9 - the Night Race and Sunday’s “Day Cross @ Sierra Point) will feature an hour long playtime for our youngest cyclocross fans. Starting at 11:00 am on Sunday the course will be in plain view of their parents circuit and open for Cyclocross play. Look for the Starter’s Arch and you’ll find a Kid friendly playground.
